DR. KENNETH TORRES

Your Cosmetic, Restorative & Implant Dentist in San Leandro, CA

Dr. Ken is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry. UCSF is perennially ranked as a Top Four Dental School in the United States. Learning is a passion for Dr. Ken as he continuously takes dental continuing education classes throughout the country.

Dr. Ken is well-versed in treating orofacial pain, including TMJ disorders and the use of oral appliance therapy for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Ken is a member of the prestigious Scottsdale Study Club, and he was mentored by the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) co-founder, Dr. Edward Spiegel. Dr. Ken has completed a two-year orthodontic course for general dentists and offers his patients orthodontic treatment with either traditional bracket braces or Invisalign®, the innovative clear aligners orthodontics system.

Dr. Ken has been an active member of East Bay Community. He has coached football at Arroyo High School for five fantastic years. He was also an original member on Arroyo’s Advisory Committee prior to the formation of the school’s Academy of Health and Medicine program.

When Dr. Ken is not in the office, he loves to spend time with his wife and three beautiful children. He loves to visit other countries, and he was exposed to other cultures early on, growing up in West Africa and visiting family in the Philippines. He has a passion for staying fit and loves to mountain bike, hike, and weight train.

Dr. Ken is known for his playful personality that puts his patients' fears at ease, but it is his clinical skill that leaves his patients confident that they are receiving top-notch dental treatment.
