Going to the dentist is often regarded as a grudgingly done chore for some, and a truly nerve-raking experience for others. Dr. John Ha
DDS
Dr. Ha earned his bachelor’s and dental degrees from Creighton University, where he also completed a dental post-baccalaureate program. He has engaged in extensive postgraduate education, with specific training in dental implant placement and restoration, advanced bone grafting, complex implant restoration, full mouth restorative dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Ha is only the second ever Board Certified Implantologist in the State of Hawaii and is Hawaii's youngest individual to achieve that designation by 20 years. His commitment to education has allowed him to achieve Fellowship and Mastership awards in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, as well as a Fellowship award in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Ha is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He has lectured on the topics of CEREC technology, dental materials, and dental implant surgery. He is proud to mentor newly graduated dentists and has served as a dental volunteer for Project Homeless Omaha, One World Community Health Services, Give Kids a Smile, and We Serve Day. Dr. Ha has been featured in Dentaltown Magazine, Austin MD Magazine, and has been a guest on the Wellness Hour Show. He is the author of the book "Smile... The World is Watching".
In his spare time, Dr. Ha enjoys spending time with his twin boys, Lucas and Liam, golfing, and playing the guitar.
