This Dental center is like no other, ,Friendly so welcoming, amazingly helpful in making a dental plan, I have never like going to the dentist š¦· in the past , my first visit ,they changed that , canāt wait to return. There are so many dentist to choose from in Honolulu, and I must say I found the best dental office in Hawaii, let alone Honolulu. I went to multiple other dental offices that say they "offer implants," but what I didn't know is that most dentists only put the crown on the implant. Kaizen Dental Center does both the implant surgeries and replacing the tooth on top of the implant. it was a very complicated implant to do because I've lost so much bone. Dr. Muraoka was gentle and very precise on my dental implants. Highly recommended for all your dental implant needs!

I recently had an appointment at Kaizen,1st visit. I wasn't sure if I could afford dental implants but after talking with HA, who was very helpful and answered the questions I had, she encouraged me to come in for a free consultation to access my situation. I went in a had a very kind dental assistant that asked what were my goals, I explained that I just wanted to be able to smile,eat ,and regained some confidence without worry. Then I was introduced to Dr.Muraoka,( I think that was his name,Sorry) anyway He was great explained what my options were, which was very do-
able! The best part was that my insurance could cover apart of the procedure, which I didn't know. š¤ ! BTW in that visit I got x-rayed
and impressions done for my implants. It will take a while due to the extractions and the healing that needs to take place but I am patient. When I was told was my out of pocket cost would be if I wanted to complete it soon
er, I couldn't believe it, I was SO EXCITED
So...if anyone is thinking of getting some work done on your teeth,check out Kaizen , my may be surprised. Also the staff was very friendly, it was a great experience š Aloha stay safe!

Dr. Eric Muraoka
CEO and Founder of Kaizen Dental Center
Kaizen Dental Center. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. Muraoka attended the prestigious Iolani School for his formal high school education. He went on to receive his Bachelors in Chemistry from Lewis and Clark College, then stayed in Portland where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) from Oregon Health and Sciences University.
Outside of the office, Dr. Muraoka loves surfing and serving as a pitching coach for the Iolani High School Baseball Program. When he isnāt surfing and coaching, he loves reading and learning about topics ranging from nutrition to 3D printing. He especially loves learning about the newest techniques and technology in dentistry, a passion that has sparked his love for digital dental manufacturing.
This very passion led him to owning his own dental laboratory that specializes in making the highest quality dental prosthetic for other dentists in Hawaii and all across the US. Because of this, Kaizen patients have the added benefit of access to the absolute highest quality products offered in the history of dentistry at Dr. Muraokaās Downtown Dental Lab.
Owning a lab and multiple 3D printers has also allowed Dr. Muraoka to help the community during these pandemic times. With this technology heās been able to print PPE, donating over 10,000 face shields printed on his equipment for the community.
Dr. Kenneth L. Anderson
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Kenneth L. Anderson has been with Coastal Jaw Surgery since 2017. For the past 7 years, he has been practicing as a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Anderson specializes in dental alveolar surgery, Zygomatic implants, nerve repositioning for dental implants, temporary crowns for dental implants, temporary implants, guided implant surgery, complex bone and soft tissue grafting, general anesthesia, facial trauma, platelet rich fibrin, oral pathology including jaw cysts and tumors. In Trinity, Florida, he participates in Coastal Jaw Surgery's Pinnacle Study Club, which teaches dental clinicians in the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Anderson is located in the Spring Hill office.
Among the areas of specialty for Dr. Anderson include dental alveolar surgery, implants, hard and soft tissue grafting, general anesthesia, facial trauma, cleft palates, and orthognathic surgeries. In addition to undergoing continuing education programs across the country, Dr. Anderson is continually learning and expanding his knowledge. Dr. Anderson has attended Dr. Arnettās course for orthognathic surgery and Dr. Bedrossianās zygomatic implant training courses. He works closely with various other medical and dental specialties including dentists, ENT, and sleep specialists.
