Dr. Gupta and the entire team were amazing from the moment I walked in, all the way to helping me get into my car to leave.
I honestly cannot thank the team there enough for their all patience, kindness, and care. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease. The experience from start to finish honestly could not have been any better.
I'll forever be recommending Dr. Gupta and his team to anyone I know that needs help, and if I ever need any additional work done in the future I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have to say, as a business owner I know, you’re only as good as your staff. My experience was above and beyond. Clean pleasant modern office. Dr Gupta and his assistant took the time to make sure I didn’t have all my questions were answered. His assistant was very knowledgeable and professional. The appointment was fast and no waiting in the office. Job well done Dr Gupta from the time I walked in to till the time I left.

This place is wonderful!!! The office is beautiful. The staff is so friendly. Blue at the front desk really eased my fears and Shawn was so incredibly kind when I was feeling nervous during my extraction. The doctor is fantastic, incredibly reassuring. He actually listens to you and makes you feel like you’re in control. Plus my procedure was quick and pain free! They got me in quickly and there was no wait when I got into the office. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gupta is an amazing Oral Surgeon and Practitioner! He truly cares for his patients and takes the time to ensure comfort for a quick and easy experience. I feel most comfortable coming to Lyons Dental Implants for ALL my surgical needs. Dr. Gupta ensures that the work is done correctly and efficiently; Taking the extra time to make sure I’m pain free and handling the procedure well. I had a wonderful experience . My appointment was fast and smooth sailing. The dentist surgeon Dr. Gupta was amazing, made me feel calm and was very understanding to my pain and tolerance during the procedure. As I been dealing with a dead tooth for a little bit over a year or two. His work was complimented by his assistant Ms. Harris. She was very detailed about the procedure but simplified the instructions to the point I felt like I given was a cheat code on how to operate going forward. Her down to earth personality made me feel at ease naturally. The overall session was one of the best dentist appointments I had in a while. I felt like I could of walked out with a sucker.
I Definitely recommend this place over some places I been to in the past.

I got my wisdom teeth out, and Shauna, Arayna, and Dr. Gupta made the experience as enjoyable as they could. Arayna was amazing!! She was so nice and fun- she made sure I was ok and calmed my anxiety about the entire process. And during the surgery, both her and Dr. Gupta talked me through what was going on and made sure I was ok. Overall, I couldn’t have had a better experience:)

Our son had an abscessed tooth. We were referred to Lyon Dental to move forward with his care plan. Our son has Autism. We met Dr. Gupta and his fantastic staff with Jude for a consult. With our son’s Autism, any past extensive treatment required us to go to the hospital, and Jude would be sedated in the OR.
Dr Gupta worked on several options for us to avoid the OR. It went beautifully today. We had full support of the staff (Ms Shaun), and my son made it through the procedure, and is now playing with his trains. The staff went above and beyond to provide a environment that would help our son feel safe, and relaxed. We are all extremely grateful! Dr Anish Gupta DDS was fast, caring, and aware of all our special needs.

Thanks to Dr. Gupta and his amazing team. For years my teeth have been an issue, and finally feel I can smile with out needing to put my hands over my face. It was a rough start but his determination to help me smile was and is part of his make up. His team of Dental Hygienist were wonderful, compassionate and made me feel at home.
Thanks for letting me smile again guys. You all rock

Dr. Anish Gupta
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Diplomate
Dr. Gupta was born and raised in southeastern Michigan. He is a graduate of Troy High school and was a math and science nerd (see picture above). The dream was always to be in healthcare, but he majored in biomedical engineering because it was more practical. He obtained his bachelors and masters from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in 2010, where he also was fortunate enough to meet his wife, Vijayata, who currently practices as a general practitioner in Ypsilanti, MI. After graduation, he tried to be a dental renaissance man – he taught at UDM in the simulation and cadaver labs, worked private practice in Warren, MI and then did a 1 year fellowship in Anesthesia at the University of Indiana. He finally found his path through oral and maxillofacial surgery and graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2017. He is board certified and has hospital privileges at Beaumont Hospital.
