I made an appointment at Nashoba Valley Dental for a second opinion. After a crown on one of my molars fell off, I was told by another dentist that I would need a sinus lift, bone graft and implant, costing over $5500. When I asked about just pulling the tooth and leaving it, I was given numerous reasons not to do that. Then I visited Nashoba Valley Dental. I was seen by Dr. Annesse who advised that, because of my age and other factors, he would recommend that I just have the tooth pulled. He was very honest and didn’t pressure me at all about getting an implant. I highly recommend Nashoba Valley Dental.

I recently damaged a front tooth just days before an important business meeting. I once again returned to Nashoba Valley Dental and they saw me immediately. Dr. Annese and his team quickly put together a plan of action and proceeded to do implant surgery. When I first walked in I didn't want to have to smile at anyone. Words can't explain what you guys have done for me, I personally want to thank Olivia for her expert knowledge. I went to your office on Wednesday January 9th 2025 my bottom all on four teeth were loose I saw that I had an implant failure. But it turns out the screw was just loose a couple of them Olivia the professional that she is took care of it in the matter of minutes. I'm going back Tuesday January 14th to finally get my permanent set of all on 4 implants. It was delayed due to the fact I had gotten sick a couple times. Words just can't express you guys are absolutely wonderful and I thank you for the attention that they gave me every time I went into the office. Keep up the good work!

I had a consultation for Invisalign braces. I wanted to adjust my bite. I was seen by Dr. Kamari. He was excellent. He was thorough and honest. He said my bite was good and that I did not need braces. I also need a dental implant. He clearly explained what my options were so that I could make a decision that was right for me. The office staff and dental assistants were helpful and welcoming. Everyone made sure that my questions were answered. I would recommend this office.

Dr. Matthew Annese, DMD

Dr. Matthew Annese was born in nearby Billerica, Massachusetts. He attended Austin Preparatory school in Reading where he was a member of the varsity hockey team. Dr. Annese was awarded an academic Scholarship to attend Tulane University in New Orleans. After graduating Cum laude with dual majors in Neuroscience and Cell and Molecular Biology all the while helping the city rebuild after the devastation from Hurricane Katrina, Dr. Annese was admitted to the prestigious Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. Dr. Annese finished in the top 10% of his dental school class and was awarded the Compassion Care honor for his class. After graduating from Boston university, Dr Annese was awarded the MassPat scholarship which allowed him to work in Dorchester to provide excellent dental care to the underserved and those less fortunate to be able to afford the care they deserve. After a few years in Dorchester, and a few years in local private practices, Dr. Annese bought the office here in Shirley from a previous dentist and Nashoba Valley Dental was created.

The mission statement Dr. Annese truly stands by to provide customized, high quality honest dental care in a state of the art setting with an amazing team. Dr. Annese constantly takes over 10x’s the amount of continuing education needed to maintain a license and is constantly implementing new technology in the office to allow the patient to get the best dental care possible. Dr. Annese’s current focus is in implantology, from single implants to the All on 4, teeth in a day full arch implants, to veneers and smile makeovers, and sedation dentistry. Dr. Annese is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist and an Associate Fellow at the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is trained to provide IV and Oral Conscious sedation to provide comfort to those who are anxious and fearful visiting the dentists.

With thousands of implants placed and thousands of new life changing smiles, Dr. Annese frequently flies all over the country and is asked to lecture, speak, and train other doctors to be able to provide the care he provides here at Nashoba Valley Dental. Doctors fly in and also spend days at the office to see the newest technology and to learn.
