If I am to be honest, I have always been nervous about the dentist. I haven't gone to anyone in years and even then, I only went if I had an issue. I have decided that it is time to take care of my teeth and found this office. From making my appointment, to having my new patient exam, X-rays, and cleaning, this office has been wonderful! They were very accommodating and acknowledged my fear. I always had severe sensitivity. Becca was my hygienist, she didn't hurt me, didn't rush and honestly took her time with me. My sensitivity was barely an issue and even though at this time they don't accept my insurance, I will continue to use this office for all of my dental care!

This has been the most outstanding experience I have ever had with a dentist office. The staff, the doctors and all the people involved were outstanding. I went for my cleaning today and met Alyssa, my hygienist, for the first time! Alyssa is fabulous, very thorough and gentle! She made sure to ask me how I was doing and to assure that I was comfortable. Thank you for being so kind and gentle Alyssa!! 😁. It was also great to see Dr. Rich again, with my gentle reminder to floss! Thank you Alyssa and Dr. Rich!! Highly recommend Salvatore Dental! ❤️

I was pretty confident based on the online reviews I had seen before going in as a new patient. But I had no doubts about as soon as I entered the building. They were welcoming, extremely professional, very courteous and made me feel so comfortable. I am new to their practice but so thrilled I have found them. I am looking forward to continued visits. The office was designed beautifully and they have state of the art dental equipment. Top notch!!

Dr. Rich and his entire staff have been patient having me as their patient. After my dentist and a second opinion both telling me I had to pull ALL my teeth, Dr. Rich was my answer. He was the first to give me options and allow me to save as many teeth as possible. I now have teeth that feel like my real teeth, and I have some of my real teeth. I can smile again, chew food comfortably, and can actually bite an apple. My new implants have given me back my self esteem . Thanks Dr. Rich and the entire team!

Dentistry has been a family tradition since 1934. Dr. Arthur Salvatore Sr.’s passion for helping the community inspired four of his children to pursue careers in the dental field.
Currently practicing in a newly built, state of the art office, Dr. Richard Salvatore, Sr. (Doc), his son Dr. Richard Salvatore, Jr. (Dr. Rich), and his wife, Dr. Vera Popova Salvatore (Dr. Vera), provide premier digital dentistry using 3D printers, cone beam technology, digital impressions and dual patient televisions. Salvatore Dental has been the proud recipient of numerous awards, including recognition as the top‐rated practice in the Capital District.
Dr. Rich is a leading member in the Academy of 3D dentists, pioneering the implementation of 3D technology with dentistry. Less than 1% of dentists provide the in‐house 3D technology that Salvatore Dental uses on a daily basis. Further, he has obtained more than 500 hours of additional training with focus on providing dental implants for a permanent solution for his patients.
