Dr. Calloway and his staff are as good as you will find anywhere. I was pleased in every category. The entire staff made me feel very welcome. I know that they truly care and want the best for me. The office had very pleasent and peaceful atmosphere with the most modern dental technology available. I have known Dr. Calloway for a long time and I have a great deal of respect for him. I have been to several dentist over the years and I choose to drive nearly an hour away just for Dr. Calloway.

Recently I had to have a tooth extracted as I was experiencing a great deal of pain and it could not be saved. I tried several dentists in the Lee’s Summit area but they had no openings that morning. I called Summit and they were able to work me in. Dr. Greg Calloway and his staff were awesome and treated me as if I was a regular patient. Love Dr. Calloway!!! My kids went to him many years ago when he was in dental college and then he moved away. He came back and bought our long time family dentist's business, so we got him back!!! He’s Honest and isn't just looking for something to FIND you might need!!! Totally trust him and am so happy he ended up in Lee's Summit with a great location (right next to Summit Grill and Lakewood). I am a BABY and always want to be put to sleep for everything, but he removed a tooth in his office while I was awake and I had absolutely no problem!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Gregory Calloway

Dentist

Dr. Gregory Calloway has returned home to Lee’s Summit to serve his local community with the special skills and care that he has developed over his dental career. Dr. Calloway does not see dentistry as a job or even just a career; dentistry is his passion. He is constantly training and improving his knowledge in all fields of general dentistry with a special emphasis in dental implants.

He also does all implant related procedures such as bone replacement, bone grafting and complex restorative procedures. Not afraid to take on a challenge, Dr. Calloway delights in solving challenges that will improve the lives of his patients. Dr. Calloway wants each visit to be both comfortable and fun. Being afraid of the dentist should be a thing of the past.

Dr. Calloway offers the highest quality of dental care and he does it by listening to his patients in a way that cookie-cutter offices can’t. Never again will you feel like just another number; each patient is treated like family when treated by Dr. Calloway.

He loves Lee’s Summit, and after graduating from Lee’s Summit High School, he counted the days until he had the right opportunity to return. After graduating from Lee’s Summit High School, he graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia, and afterwards attended dental school at the University of Missouri- Kansas City. Dr. Calloway accepted a scholarship through the United States Navy and spent 4 years in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

This took him all over the world, including a two-year tour on CVN 75, the USS Harry S. Truman, a nuclear aircraft carrier stationed out of Norfolk, Virginia. Not only did this time allow Dr. Calloway to serve the country we love, but it also afforded him invaluable extensive training in oral surgery, endodontics, and advanced restorative techniques.

Dr. Calloway has a passion for his patients and his craft and it shows. Where every 2 years

The State of Missouri requires a minimum of 50 hours of continuing education, Dr. Calloway is on track to spend more than 300 hours expanding his knowledge this year alone!

When he isn’t focused on improving patient care he enjoys reading, exercising, and loves spending time with his wife Amber, and two children Cole and Olivia.

Dr. Kenneth L. Anderson

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Kenneth L. Anderson has been with Coastal Jaw Surgery since 2017. For the past 7 years, he has been practicing as a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Anderson specializes in dental alveolar surgery, Zygomatic implants, nerve repositioning for dental implants, temporary crowns for dental implants, temporary implants, guided implant surgery, complex bone and soft tissue grafting, general anesthesia, facial trauma, platelet rich fibrin, oral pathology including jaw cysts and tumors. In Trinity, Florida, he participates in Coastal Jaw Surgery's Pinnacle Study Club, which teaches dental clinicians in the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Anderson is located in the Spring Hill office.

Among the areas of specialty for Dr. Anderson include dental alveolar surgery, implants, hard and soft tissue grafting, general anesthesia, facial trauma, cleft palates, and orthognathic surgeries. In addition to undergoing continuing education programs across the country, Dr. Anderson is continually learning and expanding his knowledge. Dr. Anderson has attended Dr. Arnett’s course for orthognathic surgery and Dr. Bedrossian’s zygomatic implant training courses. He works closely with various other medical and dental specialties including dentists, ENT, and sleep specialists.
